Compact, Ideal for narrow roads
The compact, lightweight vehicles are ideal for local tasks where it is uneconomical to send out a larger vehicle. Their impact absorbing polycarbonate lightweight bodies, pedestrian friendly profile and manoeuvrability make them the ideal choice for working in highly populated centres.
The dropside tipper making for the ease of delivery of its load. The Tipper utilises a hydraulic motor in the lower body but retains a useful forward storage space under the Tipper bed.
The pick up and the under-bed storage allow the operator to carry his test equipment, a strimmer and blower. The narrow track of the Mega and its light weight mean that it can access areas previously only achievable on foot.
“The Mega is gaining popularity with local authorities and facilities management operations due to its light weight, low fuel consumption, and its low impact upon the environment. There is a growing move towards tailoring the vehicle to the task, and the Mega is ideal for dealing with a myriad of minor jobs that really don’t need a full sized pick-up or van.”
The hydraulic system and its telescopic jack lifts to an angle of 43° in less than 8 seconds
The plates, the side flaps, the chassis, are all made of corrosion resistant aluminium enabling the vehicle to be used in aggressive environments or with high humidity.
The two side flaps and the rear flap fold and are detachable. They are made of aluminium and are light and corrossion resistant.
The tipper on a pickup base includes secure storage with generous dimensions: 1.38m L x 78cm I x 31cm h (20cm h in the electric version). It is useful for storing tools or personal effects.
A wire mesh cage is available as an option to safely transport light bulky loads. A net can be used with the cage.
A grill is available as an option to protect the back of the cab when transporting heavy or aggressive loads.
